The Business Development Representative position is the perfect fit for someone looking to get into IT Software Sales. Flycast Partners will provide in depth training and consistent mentoring for a candidate to have success in the Business Development Role as well as ability to showcase skill set for advancement to Account Manager position. In this role, you will report to the Director of Sales Operations and be assigned to an Account Manager and their territory. This position will be work from home.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Complete 75+ calls per day from provided prospect lists
  • Collaborate with assigned Account Manager on cold call Campaigns
  • Connect with current customer base and establish up sell opportunities
  • Articulate value of Flycast Partners products and services to prospects and customers
  • Review RFI, RFP, and Government Bids for fit on Flycast products and services
  • Establish Targeted Prospecting Campaigns
  • Assist Territory Account Manager in sales process as needed
  • Preferred Experience

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 1-2 years Business Development/Cold Calling role
  • 1-2 years Sales or Account Manager
  • 1-2 years in IT Networking or IT Support Role
  • 1-2 years in selling to Government agencies
  • Desired Skills and Knowledge


  • Strong Computer Skills, including ability to effectively communicate via phone and email
  • Self-starter and world class work ethic
  • Understanding the role of IT Support or IT Infrastructure in medium to large business
  • Knowledge of IT markets or Government purchasing process
  • Basic understanding of Salesforce CRM or ability to log notes into a CRM
  • Ability to work and stay productive in a remote home office environment
